National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies (NWCET), at Bellevue College, hosted the ninth annual Washington State Working Connections IT Faculty Development Institute from August 19th to August 22nd, 2008.
The following tracks were offered to faculty participants:
- Web Development with PHP/XML (Instructor: Mark Westlund, Olympic College)
- Windows Server 2008 (Instructor: Brian Bridson, Baker Community College)
- Web 2.0 (Instructor: Tony Sako, Columbia Basin Community College)
- MS Office 2007: Nuts to Bolts (Instructor: Letty Barnes, Lake Washington Technical College)
- Camtasia Studio (Instructors: Jean Kent, North Seattle Community College emeritus)
The 2008 Institute offered five tracks to participants. The Institute’s 80 plus participants came from 28 of the 34 Washington state community and technical colleges, as well the Bellevue School District.
