Bridge the IT Gap: K-12 and CTCs Meet, Motivate, & Make it Happen
This three-day institute will feature three tracks focusing on:
- Industry required technical knowledge and skills needed for new, relevant IT software or hardware applications, and/or integration within industry sectors. Participants will take away curriculum and best practices to implement in their classrooms.
- Networking sessions between K-12 and CTCs will focus on how best to serve students to seamlessly articulate from the K-12 system into the CTC system with minimal course repetition.
This event is for middle- and high-school teachers and will be co-facilitated by a middle- or high-school teacher and a CTC faculty member on new IT technologies. This event is modeled upon the Working Connections IT Faculty Development Institute for CTC faculty.

We are in the process of deciding which tracks to offer and your input is valuable as we move forward with “Bridge the IT Gap” Institute. Please indicate the likelihood of you attending, and then which track would you be interested in taking, as well as the format of the professional development training itself.
