Develop A Cybersecurity Camp for High School Students

Whatcom Community College (WCC) hosts a Cybersecurity Center to provide access to Information Security and Information Assurance (IA) resources. Develop a Cybercamp at your college by can be adopting the materials Whatcom created through NSF-funding.

Technology/Workforce Trends Webinars

Pathways to IT Applied Baccalaureate Degrees for WA State Students Summit

WA State Workforce Education Administrators are invited to send their college’s IT team to “Pathways to IT Applied Baccalaureate Degrees for Washington State Students” (Friday, June 7, 2013 at Microsoft). The day will focus on creating a cohesive process for coordinating efforts, sharing best practices, and unifying in order to address the shortage of work-ready IT four-year graduates.

The Center has launched and is fine-tuning a new website, Your Future in IT, for students who need information, guidance, resources, and academic planning tools to find out what courses they need to take and what career options they have when they either already know they want a career in IT, or they want to know more about an IT academic and career pathway.
