Dr. Arthur Benjamin is a professor for the Department of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, California. He earned his Ph.D. from John Hopkins University in Mathematical Sciences. Dr. Benjamin’s dissertation focused on “Turnpike Structures for Optimal Maneuvers”.
His research papers, presentations, memberships, referees for journals and book series, service on editorial boards, and services to the profession are substantial. He is a renowned national and international scholar and expert in mathematics.
Dr. Benjamin enjoys attending the theater, playing competitive backgammon, racing calculators and performing magic.
