The June 7, 2013, Pathways to IT Applied Baccalaureate Degrees for WA State Students, was attended by over 125 community and technical college faculty and workforce deans and v.p.’s, secondary educators, IT industry professionals, and representatives from the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. The day-long event was held at Microsoft’s Conference Center, Redmond, Washington. Sophie Tual, Marketing Manager – Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector Education was instrumental in securing the Summit’s special guest keynote, Keith Loeber, Director, Microsoft Learning, who gave a presentation on Microsoft’s Perspective: Washington State’s IT Industry Sector and the Need for Multiple IT Academic and Career Pathways and Baccalaureate Degrees.
