9:30 AM to 9:45 AM Welcome, Introductions, Review Agenda
9:45 AM to 11:00 AM Complete the work for the six IT common courses and come to consensus on adoption. (Review the courses here…ahead of time in order to prepare for the discussion and adoption process) (Break out into groups of three)
11:00 AM to 11:15 AM Break
11:15 AM to 12:15 PM Lunch & Overview of Standardizing IT BAS Degree Titles, Kathy Goebel , State Board for Community and Technical Colleges
12:15 PM to 1:15 PM 1. Review the suggested process for creating consistent IT Applied Baccalaureate degree titles across the system. (Break out into groups of three)
2. Select IT industry professionals (between 1-3 will be assigned to each group for this discussion, as well as participating in the 1:15-2:15 PM session)
1:15 PM to 2:15 PM State of IT BAS Across the State
- IT Applied Baccalaureate degrees: Receive updates on current, planned, and tentative IT Applied Baccalaureate degrees across the state
- Discuss best practices
- Explore creating a shared resource site on the Center’s website which would house degree proposals, curriculum, and best practices.
2:15 PM to 3:15 PM Worker Retraining Students, other possible pathways for them in IT and academic discipline, as well as using the YourFuturein.IT website for these students (adapt/adopt/disseminate)
3:15 PM to 3:30 PM Review agenda for Friday and discuss/confirm process for decision-making/consensus on IT common course adoption and consistency of IT BAS titles. Report out and poll small groups for where they are at with these two proposals.

Finalize Adoption Agreements on IT Common Courses and IT BAS Degree Program/Titles
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Explore New Pop-Up Commercial IT Boot Camps (how to take advantage as a system (Ken Hang, GRCC will provide an overview of this and then the floor is open for discussions)
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Continue discussion of IT Book Camps – Next Steps
Brainstorm on a new way to track CTC graduates for colleges to better measure outcomes for graduates, placement, where they end up, why some students drop out, etc. to enable a quicker and more efficient ability to adapt and/or upgrade IT programs.
